Thought I would update my journal as it has been way too long!
Firstly I would like to say ive been publicizing myself :D I am in the current 3rd issue of Plog magazine - plogmagazine.com,

Which has been really good to get myself out there! On the creative front, i haven't made a single thing since uni, I have done some designing tho for both myself and designer label D-Tarz which has been good. Ok i currently have 8 days left of uni to go, and however daunting this is to people it some what excites me.
My friend Heather Blair and I have devised a cunning plan to do what we want rather than to jump into the slow exhausting pool of the fashion industry through years of internship.
We want to come sole traders of our own initial labels under our Co-op Community of Hemming Studio. this will be a base of using networked contacts and devise marketing strageries for the small designer. Using a shop window to create commissioned sellers profit and hopefully evening classes to reduce the costs of a studio down.

Well i'm bearing up to hand in my Dissertation and first garment, which is my banyan printed dress. Finally getting there with them both its kinda been a stressful week to be honest but i'm glad its going ok. Having a few breaks over the easter period, going to Newcastle to see my mums friend for a long weekend, but also planning on doing two-three other garments and business plan. Keep pondering about what i'm doing when I finish I have a few ideas but we shall see, feels like luck wim rather than soild ground, i just hope to prove myself and people right with these plans and gain a bit of confidence.

Heya, sure erm when your on your main page.. (clicking your megmichelle010 name) at the top shud b that bar with all the stuff like about you how long been at DA etc. Click on the square next to your name, it ses upload a photo. When i did this many moons ago, it had to be a cetain amount of pixels, but i'm not sure now... but i resized it on paint and ive never changed it lol.
